Friday Pie-day

My sister-in-law Andrea and I are officially renaming Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) Friday Pie-day. We think that there is too much food on Thanksgiving to really enjoy dessert, so there needs to be an extra day for people to enjoy just the desserts (namely pies). For pie-day I will be making a chocolate whip cream pie and a chocolate-peanut butter pie. Yum!!!!!! Andrea will be trying a new recipe for raspberry frozen yogurt pie. My dad will handle the traditional pumpkin pie, that actually requires baking. We will come home after shopping on Saturday (we really only plan to go to one place : JoAnn's) and enjoy our absolutely fabulous pies. Feel free to join us for Friday Pie-day!

Interviews

I hate interviews. I hate the questions they ask because they are so general and I just don't have good answers for them. I want to have totally unique answers ( e.g. Give an example of how well you work on a team. Well there was that time in the Philippines when there was a hurricane and I helped the orphanage account for and keep all of the children safe during the storm.) but really I am just a very average person and have very average answers. I'm not a world traveler, I'm not the worlds' greatest leader, I am not superwoman, and really I don't want to be. Right now all I want it is a job that will pay me to come in and do my work and then let me go home - I really don't think a ten minute interview is going to tell anybody anything about the real me or what I'm capable of.

Phones

Do you ever just want to run and hide from the phone? I hate talking on the phone. I don't know why exactly but I think its genetic or something cause my dad hates it too. I never know what to say or how to introduce myself and have no facial clues to help me....aghhhh. Anyway I tell you this because I'm really bad at calling people back and I know it probably drives my friends crazy... So today I am going to be better and am going to call all of the people (I actually have a list) that have called and left me messages or that I haven't talked to in a while.
